The Vampire Slayer: Season Four Premium
Trading Cards From Inkworks RALEIGH,
NC, -- With four previous sold-out BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER trading card
releases already under their belt, Inkworks has announced their newest
premium quality trading card release:
BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER: SEASON
FOUR. The set captures the
excitement and challenges of Buffy’s new beginning as a college
freshman with a collection of all-new images. The 1999-2000 season of BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER tested the bonds of friendship that held the Scooby Gang together as they left their high school years behind and began their college years. Inkworks has created a 90-card base set that covers the entire season. It includes both new and classic subsets such as: Episode Cards, Beastiary Cards, The Scooby Gang, Inside the Initiative, Strange Sightings in Sunnydale and Obsessions. “We are very excited about the BUFFY THE VAMPIRE: SEASON FOUR set,” said Martha Modlin, Executive Vice President of Inkworks. “The images in the set are some of the best we have ever had and the subsets are incredibly creative. ‘Strange Sightings in Sunnydale’ feature funny images we thought we would never get to capture. ‘Obsessions’ have cool transition shots that occur in the production of the show. We even have a unique checklist card that features a ‘Now Leaving Sunnydale’ road sign.” One of the most popular features of previous BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER products has been the inclusion of bonus autographed cards of many of the fans’ favorite stars in random packs. The newest set is no exception. Inkworks had six leading characters to sign autographs: Emma Caulfield (Anya), Danny Strong (Jonathan), Mercedes McNab (Harmony), Adam Kaufman (Parker), Lindsay Crouse (Professor Walsh) and Marc Blucas (Riley). In
addition to autographs, Inkworks has included three additional levels of
bonus cards including: §
New Beginnings: nine-card
foil puzzle featuring your favorite Buffy characters. (Inserted
approximately 1:11 packs). §
Enjoining Ritual: six
foil tarot-like cards used in the season’s final episode featuring the
“Scooby Gang.” (Inserted
approximately 1:17 packs). §
Essential Slayer:
One special foil die-cut card featuring Buffy.
