FOX LICENSING & MERCHANDISING AND INKWORKS ARE RAISING THE TRADING CARD STAKES TO CELEBRATE

BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER:
SEASON SIX TRADING CARDS

Featuring 11 Different Autographed Cards and 5 Different Pieceworks Cards That Contain Actual Pieces Of Costumes Worn On-Screen During BUFFY

RALEIGH, NC  – October 1, 2002 – Fox Licensing & Merchandising and Inkworks are teaming up again to give Buffy fans something to sink their teeth into with the release of: BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER: SEASON SIX PREMIUM TRADING CARDS.  Based on the sixth season of the award-winning series staring Sarah Michelle Gellar, fans will go batty for the latest set of Buffy  premium trading cards which feature: 90-card base set that will include episodic coverage, character cards, wedding album cards, evil trio cards and more.  Goodbyes Cards, Power of Willow Cards and more! Additionally, the set has 11 different autographed cars and the highly collectible Pieceworks Cars. Pieceworks Cards are special, randomly inserted cards that each contain an actual pieces of a costumes worn on-screen during Buffy. 

A breakdown of the bonus cards are as follows:

• AUTOGRAPHED CARDS - Approximately one per box!  There will be 11 different autographed cards:  Elizabeth Anne Allen (Amy), Tom Lenk (Andrew), Adam Busch (Warren), Kali Rocha (Halfrek), James C. Leary (Clem), Ivana Milicevic (Sam Finn), Dean Butler (Buffy's Dad), Jeff Kober (Rack), Andy Umberger (D’Hoffryn), David Fury (Co-Executive Producer and “Mustard Man” in musical episode), and Amelinda Embry (Katrina).   (Eleven cards - Appx. odds 1:35 packs)

• PIECEWORKS CARDS - The first ever Buffy Pieceworks cards!  Five different cards featuring pieces of actual costumes worn by Sarah Michelle Gellar and James Marsters on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, including:  Buffy's blouse from the musical episode, Buffy's jeans from the musical episode, Buffy's Doublemeat Palace uniform top, Buffy's Doublemeat Palace uniform pants, and Spike's black t-shirt.  (Five cards - Appx. odds 1:64 packs).

• ONCE MORE WITH FEELING - Nine card foil puzzle tribute to the fan-favorite musical episode, featuring song excerpts and all the favorite characters.   (Nine cards - Appx. odds 1:11 packs).

• LOVE BITES BACK - Six foil-etched cards that are reminiscent of a previous fan-favorite chase set (Love Bites), with an updated twist  (Six cards - Appx. odds 1:17 packs).

• BOX LOADER and CASE LOADER cards - Three different box loader cards (one card per sealed display box) and one case loader card (one card per sealed case).  

Each pack of BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER: SEASON SIX trading cards contains seven premium trading cards and has a suggested retail price of $2.29.  Display boxes contain 36 packs.

There will also be a new BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER: SEASON SIX collector album and a limited, numbered uncut mini-press sheet of "Once More With Feeling."  Only 199 sequentially numbered uncut mini-press sheets will be available
